By the Time You Read This, I'll Be Dead by Julie Anne Peters

5.0

This is a really emotional and thought worthy book about Daelyn, who wanted to ''fit in''.Not her exact words per se,but then it could as well have been what she was conveying.
Daelyn's story is very relatable in a whole lot of ways.
The feeling your parents don't care about you,
The fact that you have no friends to communicate with, like everything about her life.Sure,I will admit,I would also have tried to kill myself if that had been my case.

I love the fact that Daelyn got the opportunity to meet someone who was in the same position as she was.It gave her time to think and reconsider her decision about commiting suicide.Santana added a spark and made me love the book more.He was carefree and didn't allow his illness to bother him. That trait is actually hard to possess and someone might even say it is totally not relatable. But in my opinion it really is.There are a whole number of people who are ready to endure pain without a hint of it in their behaviour. That was really brave of the Santana.

The end was pretty much surprising as I was expecting it to be straightforward.
It actually allowed and gave time to think especially due to the part about the man and his dog.
Overall, this book was totally worth reading and I loved every bit of it.
