If you can get past this mess of a writing style to even TRY to get into the plot of this book, more power to you. I can probably count on two hands the number of books I have actually QUIT in my entire lifetime, and this one goes RIGHT to the top of the list. I read about the first 30 pages of this book, and multiple times, stopped to read out loud to my husband because I was so blown away by the hot air blustering from these pages. No one talks like this, no one tells a story like this, and this is no one's voice. The use of language is neither impressive, nor sophisticated, nor "literary". It's just stupid.
