O Colecionador de Memórias by Cecelia Ahern

5.0

Picked this book up as an experiment really, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had only read one book by Cecelia Ahern and that was P.S. I Love You. I always loved that story but somehow I always thought that this was one of these occasions where the rest of the author's work would be less impressive and would not live up to the expectations set by P.S. I Love You. Luckily for me, I was wrong.

The Marble Collector is a touching story of a woman who's trying to get to know her father, after he himself has forgotten most of his life. The book follows two storylines: the adventures the woman embarks on while discovering things about her father, and the story of the father, starting back when he was a little boy in Dublin.

Ahern's writing is quick and easy, which is why I was able to finish this book within two days. I have learned my lesson and I will gladly pick up any other book written by Ahern. Definitely recommend.
