this was one of my all time favorite books growing up and there’s still so much to love about it! it has such an interesting premise and well built world, a fantastic protagonist, and a well paced love story. simply no one is doing like ella she is so funny and i love how different her story is from a traditional fairy tale without Trying To Be Different. (and it’s definitely better than the movie)
