This was better than book 1! Shocking. I was hoping to joke about how reading this book was "torment," but it really wasn't. I enjoyed it more than I expected.
While the plot didn't feel like it moved forward much, I do think Luce was characterized better here. And she has much more of a backbone than Bella in Twilight. She's not just following Daniel blindly, but questioning him and his treatment of her. I like that she's not some wimpy helpless girl in love.
Actually looking forward to reading the next one!
