This really wasn’t what I went in expecting (well some of it I expected). The claustrophobia Easton Ellis creates with the steam of consciousness brand vomit/businessman word salad is really effective, so much so that it’s downright overwhelming. It’s a great book but I wouldn’t exactly say I had a good time reading it because so much of it feels like being in a crowded mall during a panic attack.
