So much fun
I loved this story!!! At first, I was a little skeptical. The writing had me struggling to stay focused and get engaged, but then when she met the prince, everything changed. I loved her magical creatures, and while the world building was small, it was still interesting.
I think the MFC is overall likable and has a kind heart. I think it's a bit of a personality change she undergoes in a small amount of time. But I really enjoyed it.
I'd have loved a few more details or a longer story, but I really enjoyed this. It was a medium to low intensity and not very dark. It had its moments of intensity and darkness, but it didn't encompass the whole book.
We learn that the Fata are faeries but I'd say more of a cross of a fae with a vampire. The Trials were a wonderful addition.
My only negative is that I wish I had more time in their world. I will definitely read the next book in this series.
