This book was rated Book of the Year in 2018 for Book of the Month and for good reason. This book was amazing. If you enjoy Greeky Mythology, then you will love this book. Miller wrote this story beautifully and from a perspective I didnt know existed. Circe is the daughter of Helios and gets exiled to an Island. From there she gets visitors (good and bad) and she strengthens her magic and skills. She becomes a hardened woman from her troubles and you keep rooting for her happy ending. I dont want to spoil it, but she does! Aside from her story though, there are so many other Greek stories spread throughout the book. Even though, Miller gives you enough information on all the backstories, I still looked up more information on characters because I was curious.

Overall, if you like Greek Mythology or just know a small amount of Greek myth, this book is probably for you. This book felt so much bigger than the 385 pages it was. This book literally took you on an epic adventure
