We lived on Maui for 2 years and without this book there would have been so many things we wouldn't have gotten to see. If you are planning a visit to one of Hawaii's islands definitely get one of these books (they have one for each island).
What I liked most about this book is the author was truthful. He didn't get paid to say positive things about a certain restaurant or attraction. If he felt it wasn't worth it he let you know. He shares secrets that only locals know about and he actually visits every place that is talked about in the book.
Do NOT buy any other guide/tour book! If you only buy this one you'll be set!
