Pixies of the Sixties: Ailith by Jul Maroh

4.0

Great start to the series!

The Pixies of the Sixties series has a unique premise: fairies have always existed but now they're recently out in the open and living among humans in 1960s England.

Ailith's story is thrilling - she's a new investigative reporter trying to make a name for herself when she gets entangled with a mystery involving people disappearing. How are fairies involved? Can she trust her friends or new acquaintances as she makes discoveries that deepen the understanding of the fairy people? You'll have to read it to find out.

I particularly loved the narrative in this one. It reads like an old-timey action comic which goes really well with the art style. Highly recommended for those who enjoyed Bill Willingham's Fables series!
