We wrap up the storyline with Margaret and Heath, Margaret is traveling to the Macnachtan seat to try and finally put an end to the curse. She is in a terrible accident on the way, Heath is riding home when he finds the wreckage and discovers Margaret and her servant Rowan still alive. Heath takes them home and cares for them.
Margaret has more backbone than I expected from the previous stories, it takes her a while to discover it but when she does, look out :)
Heath is a sweetheart, always calmly trying to figure out what Margaret is talking about even when she is so panicked that she shoots him.
P.S. this series, book 2&3 specifically has a magical cat.
