I think it's fair to say that this book will change the lifestyles of many people, myself included. I always knew sleep was important, but until reading this I had no idea how important for health, happiness and general well-being it truly is. Walker lays out just how beneficial a good night of sleep is. Ironically, whilst reading this I did not manange to log 8 hours of sleep once, highlighting the difficulty in modern, working life of getting a full nights sleep. However, I know from personal experience the difference I feel if I've slept properly, not just physically, but mentally. From now on, I'm going to give myself as much opportunity as possible to sleep 8 hours each night ... living in Spain will probably make this difficult!
