Inheritance by Christopher Paolini
3.0

A relatively satisfying conclusion to a series I loved. To those who loved the first three books but are unsure of whether to read the final one, it's definitely worth it. It was quite a long read; there were certainly many additional edits that could have been made. Perhaps my biggest frustration was the failed connection between Eragon and Arya, but Eragon on his own became a little less likable. Nasuada and Roran seemed like far more interesting characters, but it was unclear as to why the author chose to write from their perspectives (as well as Saphira's) and never from Arya's, or Solembum's for example. However, overall I enjoyed the book. Congratulations to Mr. Paolini for finishing such a long and daring project!
