Oh this book was perfect for Jonquil brother fans. The beginning of the Jonquil family. the story of their mother and father, Lucas and Julia. This takes place in the Georgian era which is not one I read a lot about. I love reading about the different fashions they had and such things as powdering their hair.
I love these two. They are so perfect for one another though it took them a long way to get there.
They didn't have the easiest of beginnings and the Gents went a long way to help them.
The Gents are now more of some of my favorite people in the world that Sarah has created. I can't wait to set this series grow and get all the Gents stories!
You get to see some characters from the other books. One particular one, that is my absolute fav- I don't want to give it away for fans of Sarah's but I bawled my eyes out!
