What started off as a nice tale of a dorayaki joint reigniting it's spirit thanks to its rediscovery turnt into this history lesson of how the Japanese manage to mistreat anyone that doesn't meet their requirements of a healthy Japanese citizen, and one such case who use this lifetime imprisonment(almost) to rediscover how and what it means to exist and contribute to a society that for the most part diminishes their type of people.
Great tale. To exist is to acknowledge your surroundings.
