It was good, but I didn't find Ebby an interesting character, I thought she was kind of a people pleaser, and indecisive, so I felt a bit annoyed at some points. I did like the back and forth between different timelines and the little POVs of other characters (a style I had also enjoyed in Black Cake). And while I did like the ending

the secret repairing of Old Mo and the art gallery was very beautiful

I just wished that there had been a little bit more of justice, maybe even a little bit of murder mystery investigation, but I can understand why it wasn't done. 3'75/5
