Love Unwritten by Lauren Asher

5.0

I already devoured and adored book 1 [Love Redesigned] and I easily fell in love with our favorite billionaires a second time.

Lauren Asher's writing is amazing in conveying all sorts of emotions, but I have to admit that she did a particularly good job on her main characters and their personal stories.

Rafael and Ellie both have very difficult pasts, hard childhoods, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and very hard shells to crack. Seeing them improve, open up and move on the path of acceptance and healing was beautiful and one of the things I adored in this story, even beyond the romance.

Well, I won’t lie, the romance is, of course, amazing as well. The chemistry between the characters was already explosive in Love Redesigned and book 2 delivers what we expected: a top-tier slow-burn between a single dad and his son's nanny. Their relationship builds as the walls protecting their hearts crumble and it was beautiful to read. Also, I love Nico so much, I would fight bare-hands for this child.

Bonus: a soft ending, extended by a whole bunch of bonus chapters and epilogues that give us a glimpse of life 'after' the happy ending.

NB: I switched between digital and audio for this book and the narrators did such a great job with this duet. The parts in Spanish were just perfect.
