This was my second Koontz read. I absolutely loved Watchers. This book was a hard read because of the abuse to Melanie and other minor characters. I like the writing, but found the topics of mind control and the descriptions of the deaths to be hard to read through. Loved our main character — Dan, we need more police officers like him.
