This book captures a lot of things that have once been mass talk or whispers in society today. The great thing about this book is that Beth has a tale that surrounds all of these hidden topics and the tale is so engrossing and so beautiful that you keep turning the page. It was one of those books I did not expect myself to enjoy much and rather considered it to be a challenge that I wanted to put myself through. Surprisingly, I enjoyed every bit of it. It's written better than most YA books I've encountered in that I don't feel like a twelve year old sat down and wrote it. There is also a lot of symbolism and hidden meanings behind a lot of things going on in our society that people would catch on to if they read this enchanting story. I can't wait to read more fro Beth in the future!
