The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

5.0

Lucy Foley does it again! I may be biased because she’s one of my favorite authors, but she literally sets the bar.

A sister trying to escape her own troubled life by traveling to her big brother who has it all together. But his life isn’t as put together as she thought. Jess spends the book trying to put together who did it. Each chapter was broken down by characters on floors of the apartment, and Foley reminds us what floor each person is on.

This book isn’t gruesome, or too cheesy with the twists. So often when reading thrillers I’m so worried that they author will put something triggering just for shock value. Foley did not do that (in my opinion) and I truly enjoyed this book.

I know this book was just released, but I’m on the edge of my seat for whatever she writes next.
