I read this for a book club for this week, but it's one I've wanted to read for a bit now. I'm so glad I did, because it's such a sweet, gentle book filled with so much heart. There were a few points where the writing was a little clunky and repetitive, but it really didn't detract from my enjoyment. The characters were loveable and the concept was unique. But man did this one tug on my heartstrings! I'll admit, I cried more than once. It's a very quick read, but I do recommend take breaks between each chapter/story because each one packs an emotional gut punch, but in like a comforting way lol. If you're looking for a gentle magical realism book with a fun concept, loveable characters and full of warmth and heart, this is the book for you!
Graphic: Car accident, Death of parent, and Dementia
