This book was an emotional whirlwind. It made me feel everything. I must have cried like 5 times reading this. It was harrowing, and beautiful, and infuriating, and upsetting, and heart warming. So many disparate words that don't seem like they could all be describing the same book. So much happens in it that by only 25% in, I could hardly believe I still had 3/4 of it left. How could there be so much more book after all that's already happened?
I felt like I really went on a journey with the MC, and that I was with her every step of the way. Every decision she made, for good or ill, was completely understandable to me. I felt so many of her emotions; I was immersed. Coming out of it, the world feels a little different, and I need to give all my best friends a big hug.
Definitely look at the trigger warnings, they are intense and there are many.
