So this book has a lot in it. It starts off with a bit of a ghost story vibe to it that never fully goes away, and rightfully so. But it also adds in a few other surprise paranormal aspects that I enjoyed. It was a strange blend but it worked.
If you liked the show 'Supernatural' you might enjoy this. Granted this guy is no Winchester but the mixed elements for a fun story are all here. I wouldn't call this scary but it has good unsettling vibe moments. Also some light humor. I dont think our MC takes things too seriously very often. He has learned to just roll with a lot of crap that comes his way with a bit of shoulder shrugging ease.
