self care is closing the book after you reach the 10th line on the page 712 and never picking it up again. realism and all, i really believe it would be better if the ending was left at least a bit ambiguous. some of the graphic parts concerning child abuse felt a bit, for the lack of better word, exploitative. some of the parts are really really beautiful tho
