Dangerous Depths by Karen Amanda Hooper

4.0

As much as I loved the first installment, this seems like an unnecessary continuation. Hooper could have left it at the happy ending we found ourselves at in the first book, but I'm kind of glad she didn't. It's still a great story filled with epic romance and love that would go to hell and back (literally!) I lived through the horrors of these beloved characters and I came to know some of them in a new way. If the fist book was vibrant this one is darkness pierced by the bonds between them and the hope that there must be a happy ending. I'm looking forward to the next installment, though I'm sure that one will be more unnecessary trouble too.
