This was a RIDE. I didn't connect with Nix as much as I thought I might but the spy? Helloooooo. Their intimacy was HOT. Their friendship and closeness were so exciting. The twists and turns in this one had me setting up expectations and then tearing them down to revise them, over and over. I loved the pacing and the character development. I also loved how you got to know both who the spy was during their time in hiding as well as who they are in reality. Those characters were very much night and day, which added the right amount of spice.
