I enjoyed this story. I read a book that took place after Harvest's fall, so I knew what would happen to the planet. The characters' development (their spirit and emotions) were so much a part of the story, that I was on the edge of my seat hoping that all survived. The author, Joseph Staten, was able to put heart into this story, which considering Halo is a game, says a lot about the author. I can't wait to continue and see what happens next. I highly recommend this book.
