I absolutely loved this book! The characters were real and human, and the plot kept me turning page after page!
This is the first book I’ve read by Beth Martin, and I can’t wait to read more! I couldn’t have loved the character relationships and dynamics more! I really related to how Roemell fought to protect his sister. (who doesn’t want more sibling love in books??) and Leona had a great character arc.
This isn’t my typical genre or age-range, so I went in doubting how much I would enjoy it, but I was NOT disappointed!
The only thing I’ll say is that I didn’t care for the very beginning as much, but as I kept reading the book really drew me in and impressed me.
Highly recommend this read! I don’t want to give you too many spoilers, but just know that if you love adult dystopians, this book needs to go to the top of your TBR pile! 😁📚
