Just finished reading "Strike the Zither" by Joan He, and I have to say, it's really made an impression on me. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect from a book about war and stuff, but as I got into it, I was pleasantly surprised.

What really grabbed me were the unexpected twists and turns that littered the storyline, keeping me guessing until the very end. And let's not forget the world-building—it's simply superb. The way the author brings this fantastical realm to life with such vivid detail is nothing short of masterful.

But what I loved the most were the characters. They felt like real people, and I found myself really caring about what happened to them. Now that I know there's more to come in a series, I'm excited but also a little nervous. Sometimes sequels don't live up to the first book, you know? But that cliffhanger at the end has me really curious about what happens next.

Overall, I really enjoyed "Strike the Zither." It's got everything you want in a fantasy book—exciting plot twists, a richly imagined world, and characters you can't help but root for. If you're into fantasy, definitely give it a read.
