I would’ve loved to have some more details on each country visited (particularly legal details about how countries differ from the US in how bodies my be treated after death), but this was a fun, informative read about death practices globally. Definitely acknowledges that some of these practices are likely to make Westerners uncomfortable, but forces you to sit with the discomfort and wonder why others don’t feel the same (and why that’s okay).
