Can't say my Third Eye opened, but that was never the intention. Firmly decided a long time ago the spiritual dimension doesn't want to reveal itself to me and honestly, I think I'm better off this way. I read this book hoping to find out where we get the "strange" ideas and concepts we still hold onto today, and how they are interlinked. In that sense, The Secret History doesn't disappoint. It was overall a very fun and refreshing read. My biggest complaint is that the author doesn't caption the illustrations properly or sometimes doesn't provide clear descriptions, forcing me to Google stuff every other page.
