Yeah, I didn't like this one too much.
Duncan's characterization and backstory was interesting, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one.
Unfortunately, the pacing was agonizingly slow. There are multiple fight scenes that go on for 10-20 pages. Funny enough, the ending felt a bit rushed.
The romance was unconvincing at best.
A lot of the story just felt like padding if I'm honest.
