Cute book and protagonist. Handles grief and change well, but be aware grief and missing her parents is a big, repeated, central part of the story, not just a set up for a summer on the island. Harriet lies a lot, and while it's not presented as a good thing, it is a constant thing.

Overall cute, but not the light, happy read I expected.
