so this one fell kind of flat for me in comparison to the other two. don’t get me wrong still a really good book, i sat down and read it in a day but it just didn’t give me the feels and the longing that i had to stay with the characters in the last 2. i just don’t feel as connected to them. i love poppy and her character growth of learning to lover herself and see her worth and just stop being a pushover. i wish we got to know the guys more, i liked what we got to see of lukas and the small growth that he got but i feel like colton was just so bland. maybe that’s a me thing but even for golden retriever type boys he just felt so basic. i loveeeed him with poppy but i wish we got more of him. idk maybe that doesn’t make sense or maybe it will make more sense after you read the book?? i also feel like this book could’ve been a little longer?? i feel like ill be in the minority with that but i just wanted more depth from that characters that i feel was missing but i also don’t want any of it to be taken away.
