i think fyre is one of my favorite books in the series. when i finished it at the end of my 2020 reread i think i got chills at the arthur c clarke quote in the back. and this time around (2023 ) i teared up in the last chapter when septimus runs into his future self at the house of foryx anyway i love love love these books so so much. yes there are inconsistencies (like how stanley's ratlets' names change between syren and darke) but that is ok and that is part of the charm. i love angie sage's writing and how the pov will sometimes switch to something innocuous like the toaster or a random animal.i love the world of the castle and all the characters. i want to live in the ramblings so so bad.
