Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

5.0

I liked it. I didn't want to like it, but I liked it. There's something about John Green's style that doesn't sit right with me, he's one of those authors that doesn't quite remember what it was like in high school and so his adolescent characters could actually pass for 40-year-olds. However, as a person who has struggled with anxiety for years, the ways in which Aza described her hurt hit close to home. I'm not sure how others will like this book, as mental illnesses are subjective. But for me, Green put language to feelings and thoughts that I couldn't quite describe before.
