I wanted to love this book, but there were just too many issues. While the plot idea was a cute one, the story itself left a lot to be desired. The editing was subpar. There were so many missing words or words in incorrect places that even someone not trained in editing could find them easily. Makes me wonder if the person who "edited" was not actually an editor. The chapters ended abruptly and there were so many sudden scene changes that it felt like I was missing things. And there were so many chances for spicy scenes that were just skipped (and rather suddenly). The characters weren't fleshed out. They made abrupt 180° changes to their personality or views of something that was jolting. Like I said, the book has potential, it just falls far short of what it could be. So much so, that I will not be continuing with the series
