Dear End of Story,
I am not really sure what made me start listening to you. I know all of the controversy surrounding your author, and I guess I just had some idle curiosity about his second book. I didn't hate you, but I didn't really love you either. I wasn't expecting the twists and ultimate conclusion at your end, but I feel like it was a performative ending. While finding out who killed the first wife was a decent twist, I didn't believe the way your story drew out what happened to the son, and it wasn't written in a believable way. I struggled to get into your writing as well. It almost felt like you were written with a word length in mind. There were many times that you said something with 15 words that could have been said with 5.
