There is some Toltec “spiritual mumbo jumbo” to get through (especially at the beginning), but the four agreements themselves are amazing reminders to live by.
There are some outdated and problematic views on abuse (especially domestic abuse) in the first section “Domestication and the Dream of the Planet.”
The agreements themselves are applicable to everyone regardless of religious beliefs.
