Pax by Sara Pennypacker
5.0
This was such a cute and easy read!
The story is about a 12 year old boy and his fox finding their way back to each other after the fox - Pax is left abandoned in the forest due to the war that's about to hit the country.
The book is written in two different points of view. One tells the story of how the boy - Peter decides to run away in hopes of finding his fox after realising that leaving him alone in the forest was not the right thing to do.
The other point of view shows how Pax learns the ways of the forest and gets used to the new surroundings.
I absolutely loved the book. It will make you smile and definitely make you shed a tear or two. Most importantly though, it will make you reflect on the type of person you are and the type of person you should be.
