While I love the town this story is set in, and the surrounding background characters, I felt it lacked explanation for the actual conflict. The miscommunication trope happens often in romance, I know this, but in this story it seemed to stem from the main characters trust issues which I felt were never fully explained or given reason for. Their miscommunication, the two main characters, ended up being terribly frustrating. Overall, it was still an enjoyable, easy read with a happy ending. Just can’t get too hung up on the details.
