Springtime in Chernobyl by Emmanuel Lepage

2.0

The art in this is stunning. The bursts of color amid all the charcoals and black and grays make for a beautiful dichotomy. But I wasn't drawn into the "story" at all. Maybe I've read too much about Chernobyl finally. But the life amid devastation seemed a little done for me. The art carries this, which is maybe to be expected considering the narrator is an artist.
