I’m a little surprised the average rating is on the lower side. I went into this expecting a light-hearted mystery and I think I got what I was expected. In my opinion, there is TOO much jokes, mentions, and detail of human excrement.
A lot of this book was satisfying in the way you can see female friendships blossom and the small subplot of romance was interesting as well. I did end up guessing whodunit half way through but it was still interesting to see how it played out. I enjoyed the mentions and ending of the podcast mentions and how the ladies decided to confront the murderer. The climax and reveal was lackluster in my opinion, but the ending was satisfying.
I would not reread but this was a fun way to pass time.
Easy to read and quick story.
