Mae was a 30 year old flight attendant when she met Paul, who was twice her age. After two years of marriage Paul was arrested and all of their assets were taken. Mae was forced to leave her life of luxury and move to small town in Kentucky. Upon arrival Mae found that the camp ground was more than run down and the people who lived there were all swindled out of their money by her husband. To top of off, Mae finds her ex-husband escaped from prison and was murdered near her new home. Overwhelmed and alone, Mae leans on the residents of the camp ground to clean up the community and turn things around for everyone.

I love cozy mysteries. I love how easy they are to read and how corny the stories are with a twist of mystery. I do wish that Mae had a bit more of character development after arriving to Kentucky, instead of just automatically feeling like a member of the community. I would have loved to see a bit of friction before all of the characters came together. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book. Perfect length, great story, enjoyable read.
