literallykalasin 's review for:
With a title like "The Sibling Effect" you'd think this book would be a well rounded review of the literature of sibling relationships and birth order that had a unifying argument about the effects that having siblings can have on a person. Such an assumption would be incorrect.
While there is some mention about studies on siblings, this was really an autobiography (now with science!) I finished this book knowing more about Jeffrey Kluger's less-than-ideal homelife than I ever cared to know, but feeling much less informed about the science and influences of siblings. I guess I'm just hoping for too much out of a book with an obvious thesis statement as its title.
