Shallow Graves by Kali Wallace

4.0

I'm on a roll. Two great books in a row!
This book reels you in. Breezy is such an awesome character... You wished that she lived to accomplish all her hopes and dreams. Go to college, see space.
The book grabs you from the beginning. Breezy is dead. She doesn't know how she got that way (or does she?). Just the memories leading up to her death.
We take a journey with Breezy as she hunts killers. She herself is hunted. While she comes to terms with what she now is and where to go from there. All while still holding on to her humanity. It didn't die when she did. Even dead, Breezy can feel fear and she comes close to losing the "life" that she has. Dead yet not.
Shallow Graves is creepy, and haunting.
It took me a while to discover this author and this great book. Now, I'm a forever fan.
