Love Is a Mix Tape
by Rob Sheffield
I liked the author's relationship to music and mix tapes, and a lot of the indie music he talked about was stuff I was into in the 1990s (when I was making lots of mix tapes.) He had some funny comments and I enjoyed remembering some of the stuff he mentioned. I also really liked how he handled the part about Kurt Cobain's death. Then after the wife dies (I haven't given anything away, it's on the book jacket), it was kinda like a lot of psycho-babble for the last third of the book and the ending wasn't very satisfying.
