Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

I just loved this book. Usually anything post-apocalyptic just petrifies me, but here I felt really drawn into the characters' lives. I found the chronological shifts between before and after the epidemic kept the fear levels bearable and kept the story compelling. And when Spoilerthey saw the lights of a town from the watch tower I teared up from sheer joy and RELIEF. Although this has confirmed what is now my greatest fear... I thought this was a bloody good read and I would highly recommend it.
