The book's message is what I loved most - hope. That it's not the end of the world if you badly screw up, like REALLY badly.
But the idea of it being set in Afghanistan didn't really enter my mind. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it's just not my style cause I can see that alot of people liked it. However it was very realistic with an ending that was even more realistic. It was a nice change and a read out of my comfort zone.
