Running Blind by Lee Child
2.0

Good God I'm glad that's over.
This is a fourth book too many. It's repetitive, circular, and tedious. It's 400 pages of Reacher and Co. going over the same points again and again and him bullshitting his way through it all and STILL being smarter than a federal organization. The best part was the 30 pages of climax where you are actually surprised to see who the killer is. Then there are stereotypical characters, flat conversation, and forced relationships. This series stopped being any good after the first book.

Edit: I realized after returning to one of the books, that I'd reviewed the incorrect book. I've changed to the correct novel, and just want to point out another small dislike I've found because of it. There is no true overhanging plot of the jack Reacher novels, making following the books in chronological order irrelevant. Also, it takes away from the luster of reading multiple books in the series, as there's no grand scheme to be attached and invested in.
